Drumming is a meditation for me; rhythm is the sound of life. Playing music with others is my greatest joy. I dedicate every performance to increasing multicultural awareness and building relationships of respect and appreciation within the community.

I am a skilled, versatile, professional hand percussionist interested in collaborating with other musicians and dancers/artists groups. Available for tour, performances, teaching, recordings and gigs anywhere. I play a variety of hand percussion for traditional Kurdish, Persian, Balkan, Arabic, Flamenco, Irish, Ukrainian, Bulgarian, Greek, Turkish and South American folk bands and I am also involved in several experimental/improvisational projects. I have experience performing with choirs and also as an accompanist for modern dance.
