I am a member of a new 3 piece rock act (2 guitars, vocals and drums). We are looking to add a 4th player (bass) to complete our lineup - so I created this account to contact players. We play originals and practice in the weekday evenings at the Lathe Room (formerly Sound80) in Mpls. We are seeking a bass player who:
1. Can play
2. Is cool to create with
3. Is responsive and will show up
4. Likes our sound/style
5. Has interest in providing creative input into our current music and future works
While we are a start-up, we are made up of musicians (in our 20's and 30's) that have a lot of experience playing live locally and across the US. We can share much more about our project and samples if interested, but basically we play original guitar rock with a bunch of different influences sprinkled in. We have fun at practice and don't take ourselves too seriously but have goals and experience with how to achieve those. We have busy personal schedules, so we stay in close contact and are always looking to get together and play more. - and are really looking forward to getting out and playing live to see if our material resonates as much as we hope it does.

Our style/sound has been described as influenced by: Modest Mouse, The Pixies, Silver Sun Pickups, Dinosaur Jr, Built to Spill, with occasional meanderings into more aggressive sounds and/or some bluesy stuff.
