I am putting together an all new country cover band from scratch. We would be playing all new high energy country.
Little about me; I am a very driven, motivated, dedicated, and responsible 26 year old. I have alot of vocal talent (and it's only gonna get better). My voice is very strong with good control, with a sound influenced by Garth Brooks, George Strait, Sawer Brown, Jason Aldean and so on. So I would have the lead vocals covered but need good musicians!!
I think a 5 piece band would be best to start with. Including a drummer, Bassist, lead guitar, and Fiddle/steel/keyboard or banjo player (or any combo of them (utility man)).
What I'm looking for in a musician; I am looking for talented musicians that know thier instrument well and are dedicated and willing to learn and try new stuff. I would like you to be willing to practice at least once weekly and do your homework in between practices. In the future I want to be gigging heavily, playing friday and saturday nights every weekend. I ask that you are not a drug user or heavy drinker, and that you have your own gear.
I am taking this very seriously and ask that you would do the same. With the right people, this project could be alot of fun and profitible. I know with your talent as a musician and my drive and talent as a vocalist, we could be one of the most highly saught after country cover band in the area!!!
