ABOUT

Rob VanBiber (percussion) is the caliber of a professional drummer. 20+ years playing, a solid rock drummer. Yet his wide array of influences bring a unique drumming style. Has played in front of tens of thousands of people (opened for Sugarland in 2011, and headlined with Kara's Flowers , now Maroon 5, in the late 90's.

Mike Freeland (keys, guitar) learned to write compositions in his youth while playing/studying classical piano. At 10 years old played multiple performances in front of judges and audiences as big as 500 people (intimidating for a kid). He turned from piano to guitar as a teenager after hearing Eruption for the first time. Over the next decade his guitar playing progressed from metal, to funk, to finally more classic blues rock (think Zepplin). In his late 20's he began a hybrid of 70's keys/piano and blues based guitar that drives his sound today.

We have talent you will not find in a garage band, studio experience that solidifies our professianlism, and a love for writing truly unique pieces. Our style sounds fresh yet classic. Guitars like Kravitz/Hendrix, keys that blend into classic rock influences (doors, zepplin, floyd).

We can definitely play out live, but have no interest in gigging every week right now just to gig. Rather let's jam out new songs until we record them. Let's use the internet to get feedback and distribute our music. If the songs catch on, let's build our fan base and that definitely includes playing live.

Thanks for reading.
