Founded in 2013 by Charles Almero, Freycus initially emerged as a punk band. Throughout their journey, they experienced many roster changes and ventured into diverse genres, exploring various sonic territories. Eventually, their artistic evolution settled into the realm of progressive metal, where their sound and vision took shape. "Portals," their debut single released on June 16, 2023, showcases their distinctive style, blending atmospheric soundscapes with progressive metal rhythms.

Freycus finds an unexpected harmony in the word "fracas." While traditionally associated with a noisy altercation, within the band's musical vision, "fracas" becomes a reconciling force, representing the convergence of discordant elements into a cohesive, breathtaking symphony.

Look forward to two more singles and a full LP in 2023, as Freycus continues to carve their musical path.
