SEEKING
Band to Join, Vocalist, Rhythm Guitar, Lead Guitar, Acoustic Guitar, Drums, Violin, Keyboard, Piano, Other, Banjo.ABOUT
I worked with the EZMotion Band for 4 years, but the band's gig schedules were consuming more personal time than I have to give. For this reason, I am now an understudy Bassist for the band, and I am looking to assemble a new band with a less aggressive gig schedule (maybe even recreational/jam and/or recording-centric), and expanding my experience into other music genres.
I played folk music and Dylan stuff for over 25 years with harmonica, my main limitation was that I was "passable" on guitar but couldn't get much better. In 2016 I picked up the bass (and loved it!), and started working with a drummer in about the same place as I was at the time. The drummer and I developed the EZMotion Band (a local cover band) by adopting a very talented band leader and vocalist and by bringing on a highly experienced and very talented lead guitarist/keyboard player/sound engineer from whom I have learned a great deal . . . been gigging paid gigs with our band now since 2016, love playing bass, love playing harmonica, and am working on a recording project.
All post-semi retirement! I just enjoy playing music!

Papa was a Rolling Stone Track number: 5 Year: 2019 Album: Misc Genre: Classic Rock
This is a interesting song, because for me, there is a lot of counting going on to make sure the whole rhythm section stays in synch with the rest of the band. This is from a live performance.

A fun Bass-Oriented song, always a fun one for both the band and the crowd. Tempo a little slow for my tastes; live performance
