Influences

Top influence: Mercyful Fate/King Diamond Falsetto influence: Judas Priest: primary falsetto/head voice influence. Brats (1980): middle range nasally vocal's, holding out non falsetto notes in this range), Metallica: swift growling vocals, non nasally and non classical influence. Volbeat: Raise Michael Poulsen one octave higher and he is my biggest classical influence. I can shift gears quite easily between all of these singers. Falsetto raises no more than 0.3 seconds, would have to experiment with lowers but I’d say no more than 0.7 to 1.5 seconds. King Diamond is the closest to my universal range. The toughest song that I can cover perfectly is Room 24 by Volbeat ft King Diamond. Ozzy Osbourne and Attila Dorn would be the hardest vocals to cover for me.

EQUIPMENT

I need to invest in a portable microphone. I have my own recording software and a Rode XLR mic at home but do not have portable equipment, other than myself.
