ABOUT

A child of the 60's-70's when some of the greatest music of all time was written and performed. I played in many cover bands and did rock/pop/country/funk/r&b/southern rock/jazz-rock fusion even some disco! Played Contemporary Christian/Praise of all genres at local churches( Eagles Nest, CB.C.-NW, N.L.C.C.) over the last 20 years. I like most types of music and have had the opportunity to play most of it in my life. Played the clubs with a variety of bands around the Southeast: Georgia, Fla., N.C. & S.C., Tenn., Alabama etc. I was also one of the founding members of an all originals acid rock/blues rock group called MACHINE GUN in 1974-76 prior to moving to Houston, Tx in July 1976. Then formed a 3 piece called Orpheus which did my originals and covers of ZZ TOP, ROBIN TROWER, HENDRIX AND others. Retired local legend & S.A. Country singer Bubba Litrell was a member at my last church, CBC-NW. He and his wife served as greeters prior to his recent passing and told me he enjoyed my playing very much and he thinks I am a fine picker! God rest his soul. He was a venerable and respected player / entertainer for decades in South Texas.
