ABOUT

Having played guitar for more than 30 years, I decided a couple years ago to actually start playing out, meeting new people, networking, etc. A few years before that I completed Berklee School of Music's online program and have a Professional Certificate Of Guitar. This basically means I can play anything. (Not!)
My playing leans toward Rock & Blues, a little funk, and the tiniest bit o'jazz.

Influences

Upon coming home from High School every day, I would throw on a cassette tape of either DIO, Ozzy, Michael Schenker, or any number of hard rock/metal groups. Then the discovery of Satriani, Vai, & Johnson woke up new and interesting things for my hands to do. Later in life I discovered blues. BB King, Buddy Guy, Albert King, SRV, and many others. I got into jazz a little with my favorite player being Julian Lage; a young fella with a whole new outlook on jazz guitar.
I'd like to think that my playing encompasses all of the above.
