ABOUT

Me: 35 years old. Been playing guitar and bass since I was 14. Very proficient at extreme metal guitar. I was in a signed touring band from 2013 - 2015. Not looking to make music my full time priority (right now).

I've been playing drums since 2012 or so and have been practicing seriously to improve my technique since 2019. My goal is to become as proficient at extreme metal drums as I am at guitar. (Quite a ways to go!) At this point in life, I have way more fun playing and practicing the drums, and though I still play guitar occasionally, my focus is definitely on drumming.

My ideal band would be a 3 piece (max 4 piece), I used to play in a 5 piece and it's just too much to coordinate to get anything accomplised. I like the stripped down approach. Just looking for some people to jam with, no expectations.

Influences

Interested in playing drums for any project in the heavy realm, metal, punk, hardcore, gnarly electronic music, industrial, grunge, hard rock. Some bands from said genres that I love are Slayer, Rancid, Converge, The Prodigy, Rammstein, Alice in Chains, Type O Negative, etc. Many Many more. I also like chill electronic music like Massive Attack.
