ABOUT

Published on Apr 4, 2017

Do you feel compelled to ROCK when you internalize the more raucous and rhythmic segments of "Variations on a Theme" by Paganini? Do you Dance to Dvorak? Despite the disapproval from the placid audiences, rigidly affixed to there seats, do you find
your self rocking out in your seat at a Beethoven symphony concert wishing they had the enthusiasm and irreverence to join in with you?

If yes, join me, a classically-trained rock pianist who toured New England in the '70's--jamming all the way! (Now, I reside just north of the Golden Gate Bridge, although I could be persuaded to travel!)

I was the Head of Publicity for A&M Records in New York City, where I worked with such notables as Jimmy Hendrix, Cat Stevens, Joe Cocker, Hall and Oates...

I discovered bands with Tommy Mottola, pre-Sony. Also, I worked directly for Eddie Kramer at Electric Lady Studios when it opened and subsequently worked for
Jimi Hendrix and Tim Leary’s management company.

Classically trained in piano since the age of seven with Keith Jarrett's piano teacher in Los Angeles, I majored in music (Dean's List!) at Cornell. Growing up, I attended Brubeck, Errol Garner, Andre Previn concerts with enthusiasm!

I rock-jammed with 22 San Francisco Bay Area musicians for seven years at a private home!

I am looking for classical-rock, cross-over instrumentalists such as violin, cello, electric bass, drums, guitar, and others that might rock to classical and ramp up classical to rock! (Semi and Professional preferred)

If it works out, commercial considerations will be welcomed!

Let's create a musical laboratory and hear what emanates!

Warm regards,
