My main goal is to have fun and enjoy playing music. I'd like to hook up with like-minded players who are creative, can get with a positive vibe and are not nincompoops. Interpreting music with a personal touch, a strong groove and solid improvisation are important to me.

Influences

I grew up with rock 'n roll and came of age in the sixties so players like Clapton and Hendrix are in my musical DNA. I'm still fundamentally a blues-rock guy but very much appreciate jazz influences (Robben Ford, Larry Carlton...). Not into over-played classic rock but would like to explore deep cuts from that time. Some country and jazz (especially fusion). Jeff Beck, Joe Bonamassa (check out Rock Candy Funk Party), Derek Trucks, Warren Haynes...the list goes on.

EQUIPMENT

I have good stuff, thanks to a reasonably tolerant wife :) Most of my electric guitars are humbuckers. My acoustic/electric has nylon strings. I have a couple of bass guitars, amps, a PA system and other gear in a nice music room.
