Ian Taylor Sutton is a pedal steel guitarist and utility musician living in the San Francisco Bay Area. Through his persistence and talent, Ian has earned a reputation as the go-to steel guitarist in San Francisco’s storied roots and Americana music scene regularly performing with several bands as well as numerous one-off gigs. Beyond pedal steel guitar, Ian is also accomplished on guitar, Dobro, lap steel, mandolin, and vocals.
Most recently, Ian toured with up and coming LA-based Americana/Rock band The Walcotts, joining 2-time Grammy Award winner, Chris Stapleton on his sold out west coast tour.
A quick study and a great hang, Ian is available for touring and live performance opportunities as well as remote and in-studio recording sessions.
