Mostly a golden era hip hop producer using the old techniques of sampling records into the SP1200 and the MPC3000. I have a 60's Slingerland kit, a Rhodes, a couple Moogs, a few nice mics and some really nice preamps. I've dabbled in some electronica but it has to have soul. I've dabbled in some soul but it has to have a little crispy drum break flavor. I can do 808 with 16th notes but it usually isn't my thing unless it's art school sh*t like Gravy Train! or Tracy and the Plastics.
