My name is Jacob and I'm a bass player looking to start a punk/punk rock band. I've been playing for almost 10 years im self taught. I love to play punk to punk rock to classic rock. I don't write lyrics its not my strong suit, but I do come up with catchy beats and melodies. I know this will cause some controversy but I dont care for playing in drop d or drop d standard its too muddy sounding the lowest ill drop tune is a half step.

I really like alot of bass driven bands like Green day to nirvana to AntiFlag etc. Im pretty open when it comes to bands.

EQUIPMENT
I currently own a ibanez gio 4 string. I just recently modified my pickups from active EQ to passive. I just recently bought the mike dirnt signature bass. I do all the maintenance and repairs myself. Strings i really love ernie ballsuper slinky strings if not those than ill go for regular slinkys. For my amp it's a ibanez 20 watt with a 10 db increase it packs a punch with a bass enhancer ran with monster cables.
