ABOUT

18 year old metal head who's been practicing vocals for 1-2 years at this point. Not perfect but people have been impressed and I want to get better. I want to join or band or find similar folks to learn and have fun along with. Would love to make a band or just for fun. Really want to get into the metal scene. Want to improve my metal vocals as well as soft vocals. I would say my gutturals and false cords are good. Improving fry and wanting to be awesome at metal vocals. Would to improve and learn with people as well as experiment. I may not be perfect but I've been practicing for a two years at this point and got some of it down. I'd argue I have some basics down but I have video and examples of some of my best work. Just want to be good, learn, and form a band with some folks that wanna make art and metal as fu*k sh*t.

Influences

My primary musical influences are Whitechapel and Slipknot. But I love a sh*t ton of metal. From numetal to deathcore as well as death metal. Tallah, Korn, Dying Fetus, Thy Art Is Murder, Wage War, Terrorbyte, As I Lay Dying, Chelsea Grin, Carnifex, and a funny thing to mention is Disturbed was my first introduction. Once I got to Slipknot it went even further. I also love other genres but metal always has had my heart the most. It's been there for me and means so much more lyrically and thematically to me. Some other good mentions are Killswitch, Motionless In White, (old) Three Days Grace, Kublai Khan, Infant Annihilator, Autumn Lies Buried, and Slaughter to Prevail. Biggest idol on every level is Phil Bozeman and second to that is Corey Taylor.
