The first band I every joined was a southern rock/blues cover band. I was 21, and the next youngest guy in the band was old enough to be my dad. They were great players from whom I learned quite a bit. Years later I joined a power-pop trio with guys my age, and that eventually switched to Alt-Country originals.
My musical interests are all over the place. I imagine if we sat down with a cup of coffee or a pint, we'd find some common ground.
