Hi, my name is Gamilah Towns I am 22 years old. I've been a musician for a long time. It started with drum set when I was about six years old, during my elementary school years I was involved in choir. In fifth grade I joined band started playing bass clarinet. Over the next ten years I picked up on guitar, piano, trumpet, cajon, and marching snare. I did alternate bass clarinet and clarinet for concert band. In past months I have started to record my own music, but I realized that I've wanted to start my own band. I do work full time as a hostess and I'm currently not in school. Influences
My influences come from multiple genres of music which include rock, heavy metal, punk rock, country, pop, R&B, hip hop, rap etc. I have always been opened to learn and try new styles of music. I have been inspired by Prince, Jimi Hendrix, Justin Timberlake, etc. I love concert band side of me which include classical, lyrical, and contemporary. I also enjoy jazz, and blues.
