ABOUT

I am 24 years old and have been playing drums since I was about 9 years old. I played with a lot of rock and indie groups growing up and performed all over LA. Now, I am doing everything I can to make music my full time occupation. So, really I'm searching for a group or a project that I can commit to fully and hopefully be a part of long term.

Influences

Through my first few years playing drums, I was heavily influenced by groups like Red Hot Chili Peppers, The Police, Led Zeppelin and Rush. My style was kind of a mix of all those drummers and the more I played with people, the more I started to find my own way with it. Now, I am much more influenced by modern jazz and fusion players like Thundercat (Justin Brown), Mike Mitchell, Ronald Bruner Jr and JD Beck. As well as more math rock groups like Chon, Strawberry Girls and Animals as Leaders.
