I have played guitar and bass for over 20 years, recorded 2 albums and have played 400+ shows. I have always liked playing the drums, however, i never owned a set or practiced on a regular basis until recently. Although I'm still learning new things, i think I'm good enough to start practicing with other people.
I am seeking to start a punk/metal-ish band. Here are 3 albums you should google and listen to if you don't k ow them. If you love this stuff and wanna play something along these lines then we should start a band.
Lard - Last Temptation of Reid
At the Gates - Slaughter of the Soul
Moistboyz - Moistboyz III
Bad Religion (although i can't play that beat quite that fast yet) - Against the Grain (whole album) and (the song) Sinister Rouge.
Regarding the info I'm leaving as 'unspecified', i practice my drums every day. I could commit to at least 1 evening or weekend day a week for getting together to practice.
