ABOUT

Female singer, alto to contralto voice, with some classical training. My preferred type of music project is trip hop, dark electronica, though what I've done to date and samples I have are much more mellow and ambient. Lived in San Francisco for 8 years, during which time I composed music for 2 local dance performances that I played keys and sang with, along with a percussionist and cellist. Main stage experience was 1 year of singing out in a group of 4 women doing very downtempo/ambient improv with a DJ, including a performance at Center Stage at Burning Man. After traveling for 4 years and not settling long enough to get in a group, I'm now back in Oakland looking for anything from a singer/songwriter get up with a guitarist, cellist or upright bassist, to a full band scenario more along the electronic/trip hop lines.
