I was influenced at the age of five by my father. He worked at Capitol Records and brought his work home with him. Growing up hittin' pots and pans & dancing to Motown records, I Picked up the Acoustic guitar at the age of 17 and have had an instrument in hand ever since. Whether it's spinning records, on keyboards, bass, or drums the passion for music can be seen, heard, and felt from the heart over the past 20 years. Early 2015 Joined The Sweet Leaf Junction Band & have had the pleasure of playing along side the likes of Texas Joe Bailey, Bobby D. Sawyer, and Brian Thomas.

A lot of changes have happened for me over the past couple of years that have been so fantastic that it could not be put into words. With the help of Hannah Frank and Brian Thomas I was able to do that with this song. A lot of my friends are going through changes right now and heading off in different directions. So, this song is dedicated to my family, friends, and musicians who have made it possible for me to dream big. Thank you for allowing me to be a part of your lives. I long for a place that was simpler and kinder when we were all together. Or, a time in the future when we are all together again. Either way…Take me home. Special Mention number one goes out to Roger Wright. For whom without your friendship and encouragement to learn this song, I wouldn’t be the musician I am today. Special Mention number two goes out to My Friend, Joe. I hope this song finds you well, and inspires you like you have inspired me. I made a change in my version of this song from the original written lyrics. I hope you figure it out. Disclaimer: No copyright infringement or harm is intended with this song. This Homage to The Song “Take Me Home” By Phil Collins is merely an attempt to pay tribute to some of the Greatest Artists of our time, in my opinion. Including Peter Gabriel and Sting who support Phil on the chorus in the original. It is to say thank you to these Artists for sharing their music with us and allowing us to dream. If imitation is the sincerest form of flattery, then this is my example. That being said, I must include this admission to be as forthcoming and truthful as possible. With trial and error I could not replicate the beat of the original with the tools at my disposal. The foundation drum machine beat in my version was sampled from the original.
