Jon is a pianist and has been playing since he was 6 years old. He fell in love with Jazz as a high-school student under the tutelege of the well known highschool director Jack Kunz. From there he attended shore-line community college and majored in music and music theory. This is where he formed his own arranging/composition and recording music company called Jon Bergevin music productions. He worked for several years composing and recording a range of projects from radio to television spots as well as corporate videos and the score for a musical. He has always been facinated with rythym and also played drums throughout highschool and college. In the late 80's he picked up african drumming and has spent many years since learning and playing african and latin percussion instruments.
Jon continues to hone his skills and studies music with the reknowned Randy Halberstadt.
Jon and his brother Joe, spent last year writing music for their album 'Seven Songs For America' inspired by Barack Obama. Check out their site
