Hello, I'm José M.Cardona. I was born and raised in Brooklyn, Kings N.Y. till I was 14 and for the rest of my years, I've traveled up and down the eastern parts of our country and resided for sometime; from Maine to Jersey to Connecticut and then to the northeastern Caribbean of the island of Puerto Rico to Florida until finally arriving here, in mid-western Michigan. I've performed a one time acoustic guitar/singing, open mic night at The Kirby in Grand Haven, MI. I've played in live shows and opened up for many bands during the 1995-97 era of local rock, ska and punk bands in the Ft. Myers, FLA area. Two bands I've been in: "Outbreak" and "Fungool." I have a good stage presence and the passion for creating new original music never dies. I have my own solo project I work on: JMC7, laced with punk influences which is a post-punk "genre" and I have been at it for many years. I'm also into collaborating with other artists (i.e. the rap skills of AJ Digital, on the song: "Indisputable") and if anyone is ever interested for collaboration in music.....

Influences
I'm more into the underground type of movement. Old school & New School. Although I'm more from the "Old School" style of music, believe you me, I have the element of surprise, hence; "Old School" into a fusion with "New School." As far as influenced by bands, too many to list here since my tastes have changed over the years but not so much so to the point of losing the 'punk rock streak', so to speak. But here it goes.....The Who, MC5, Jimi Hendrix, Bad Brains, Scaterd Few, Fugazi, Primus, Helmet, L.S.U. (Life Savers Underground), Pixies, Smashing Pumpkins, Trapt, Story of the Year, The Ghost Inside, The Bronx, Blue October, Pianos Become the Teeth, Architects, Bring Me The Horizon, Sleep Wave, SoundGarden, Pearl Jam, 311, Shootyz Groove, Prince, Jungle Brothers, A Tribe Called Quest, KRS ONE, De La Soul, Transplants, Voodoo Glow Skulls, D.F.L. (Dead F****** Last), Minor Threat, Black Flag, Pennywise, Bad Religion, Rancid, Operation Ivy, Crass, Fishbone, Citizen Fish, The Police, The Clash, dude...I can go on and on, The Beatles, Sex Pistols, Nirvana, progressive music....----see, this is what I'm talking 'bout....*whew*!!!! And also, some of the other music that may or may not fit into the Pop Culture scene of today

EQUIPMENT
I'm mainly a vocalist/singer and music is a great foundation. I'm looking for a band who's looking for a singer. On my own spare time, I play with the dynamics of sound rather than use the conventional method when creating new music for my solo project. Aside from my software programs, guitars, live percussion instruments and synth, my very own handy, 'Planet Waves' phantom audio mic
