ABOUT

Amateur musician, songwriting is my passion and itching to perform again. I write slow to hard, earnest music. My singing voice isn't anything special, sounds like my speaking voice, I'm told, but I sing on key and am in the baritone range (Depeche's Dave Gahan would be my doppelgänger voice). I have a campfire-style tune I'd love to work on. My bandmates are on the east coast and we play when I'm back there, but I'm eager to jam locally.

Influences

I'm a fan of 80s-90s British shoegaze, Manchester scene, New Wave, BritPop. Interests lean toward darker alternative and I'm a sucker for a catchy tune. Blur and Ride have been my long-term go to bands, with Arcade Fire, Imagine Dragons, Cage the Elephant, and the Districts among my more recent loves in the last decade. Getting into bluegrass, jazz, rap and funk as of late.
