ABOUT

Hello, my name is Justin Thiery. I am looking for someone, or a group of people who love music as much as I do. Also, I want people who can teach me things they've learned about music, and their specific instrument(s), as well as being willing to learn something from me too. I'm hoping to make friends with you, make music together, and learn together.

Influences

I'm mainy infuenced by a band called AJR, as well as an arist called boywithuke. AJR is very unique, and they don't shy away from honest lyrics and song structure. Even if people don't always like the music, it's the genuine honesty and passion, that makes them so amazing. Boywithuke is the first artist I've ever followed, and I witnessed their growth from nothing to selling out shows. They inspired me to learn new instruments, and helped me cultivate my own style of music. I am greatful for that. I am also inpired by Ethan Bortnick, Legrand, Arden Jones, nirvana, and Bo Burnham.

EQUIPMENT

I have a 76 key yamaha keyboard, with a sustain pedal, headphones, midi cables, and of course a power supply. A concert Epiphone, electric acoustic ukulele, but I don't have a aux, or amp for it. I have a hawks electric acoustic guitar, with a strap, and a capo. It's electric function doesn't work at the moment, but it's plenty loud. I also have a 12 hole ocarina, but I just got it so I'm still learning how to use it.
