Rock drummers: Alameda-based cover band Hot Tin Roof is looking for a hard rock style drummer for occasional gigs throughout the year. We favor straight-back beats and appreciate a heavy hand (a light touch is a respected skill but experience shows it doesn’t enhance our music).

Our style is Classic Rock that leans alternative (Pretenders and Tom Petty’s music are good examples of what we like in a drummer).

If you play hard rock, any style, we would love to jam with you in our secure studio, (drums included, bring your own pedal, etc if you wish).

We have a lead singer Katherine C who also backs up and harmonizes with other singers too. We have bass guitar Ed Summerfield, Rhythm Guitar, Steve Owen, lead guitar Gregory Smith. These band members have been together for about 5 years and we get along well and have fun.
