Vocal education: Classical training, followed by vocal strength training; I read, but also learn well by ear.
Stylistically I love singing nearly anything, but my preference for listening is rock; I've spent most of my life in choirs or a capella groups and absolutely love providing harmonies. I've got a high voice with full-bodied strength.
While I've been told by some professionals that I have a "different" voice that people will either love or hate, I've also discovered an inate ability to mimic most styles and blend my voice seamlessly in a group setting or when singing harmonies. I'm capable of singing lead, but my personality lends itself better to harmonies and backgrounds. I have no desire to be anyone's "front person". :)
