ABOUT

Heyo, I'm Zach. I'm a musician from the Seattle area, mostly playing guitar and drums as well as a bit of singing. Currently writing and recording music with my friend to play live later on in the year, but I'm also looking to put together a band of my own for a few years now. Once again, still writing and recording the material before adding more people into the mix.

I currently work about 5-6 days a week, but hours can shift and I have Thursdays guaranteed off so I can see what kind of leeway I can swing with my schedule to meet up and practice.

It's always nice to hang out with folks, so even if we don't make a band or practice consistently I'm still down to chill and do other things.

Despite also playing drums I don't own a kit myself. I live in an apartment and there's no space for one, let alone the noise complaints I'd receive. I play drums when I'm at my bandmate's house for both recording and jamming, or when I'm at a studio in town.

I use a VOX AC30VR amplifier (2x12, one tube in the power stage while the rest is digital) and a few pedals, although for recording I've gone either directly into the Vox or through one pedal. At home I play through a Line 6 Spider IV 15-Watt so as not to completely piss off my neighbors, but also to experiment with ideas.

Speaking of pedals, I haven't worked on getting my board set up for a while, but I use:
Tone City Black Tea drive
Boss DD-7 Digital Delay
TC Electronic Rusty Fuzz
