My name is Loren, I have been playing guitar since is was 14 or so, so about 19 years. Although I have played guitar for a long time I consider myself more of a multi instrumentalist and composer than a virtuoso and I am a competent bassist, I love to sing (my voice is sort of Bari-tenor), and I am good enough at drumming to have a firm grasp of drum part writing. I studied classical guitar at Sonoma State University and have a B.A. in music. For now I work full time and I am looking for buddies to jam some heavy rock/ alt metal kind of stuff for fun, but I may be open to greater commitments in the future.

I love music as soft as Sarah Mclachlan and as hostile as Meshuggah, it really depends on my mood, but I mostly jam stuff on the heavy side.
I have been getting into more classic/older metal recently like Slayer, Death, and At the Gates.
