ABOUT

I like noise. I also like drinking and making noise. I like guitar riffs also. Yeah.

My number 1 favorite song, with no competition is "Ceremony" by New Order. My second favorite, fairly recently decided, is "Hey" by the Pixies.

Primarily, I'm a bassist, been doing that for 10 years and that's my best instrument. I can handle myself on guitar, though I have many kinks to work out in that department. I cannot write songs to save my life, but I've been pretty good at collaborating with people who can. Although I enjoy Shoegaze very deeply, I am not a gearhead so take that as you will.

So basically, I like alternative guitar-based rock music that spins heads and abrades eardrums. Playing Blues based riffs does nothing for me outside of AC/DC. Ech...and the Beatles man,...I just can't get into them. They're so boring to me (feel free to talk me out of that belief though if you're so inclined, I'm kinda stupid). Before this turns into a ramble, I'll just say that my ideal setup is a group of like minded people getting together for drinks and then going off to either make or listen to music. That's been the cornerstone of the best bands I've been involved with and I'd like to stick to it. ...so like that's it...you can stop reading now I guess...

Fender Jaguar bass, Fender Jazzmaster guitar. I need an excuse to get properly kitted out.
