I use to play all the woodwinds. I am looking for a woodwind or Mummer band, but open to all types of bands. I am a professional by day and just want to have fun w/ other band members that do not take themselves seriously, are laid back and not in it for the money, but the music. I am looking for something casual and not as a supplemental income. My primary instrument is sax.

Influences
I have backed up John Phillips (Jazz sax). However, my sax influences would be Dave Koz (Jazz) and Rindy Ross and her husband, Marv Ross (Quarterflash). I use to jam with Quarterflash in my youth on a regular basis. However, I love 50-60's hard driving raspy sax back-up and 70-80's like Chicago and Beaver Brown Band which incorporated large brass sections. I use to like Kenny G (Gorlick) until he became commercialized and decided to see how long he could hold a note vs and letting his creativity continue to grow musically.
EQUIPMENT
Alto and tenor sax, clarinet, small PA system, mics and stands. And a husband who can sing pretty well. lol.
