Two things: Seeking & Offering:
SEEKING: I’m holding auditions this month for a bass player (synth bass welcome) and drummer (small kit preferred… more of a percussion approach will fit the music on half the songs) who can also both sing.
… looking to form a form a power trio (me on keys or guitar mostly)
… gotta be ok learning close harmony & contrapuntal vocal parts with ease
… good feel and passion for creating natural feeling music around sometimes shifting / altered time and key signatures
… down to rehearse twice weekly and make a badass lil band by January 21st to ply at Rickshaw Stop, then weekly thru feb & mar 2023, then nothing in april, and possibly 1-3 gigs thru summer but this’ll mainly be a winter project.
… high potential for festivals & great opening slots if we all do the fun working towards developing a tight, unique sound around my songs / our jams (lmk if u write songs too!)
OFFERING: Background vocals (& aux perc) for ur project. I’ll be in the Bay until end of March 2023 then back from Canada every winter for 6months and would love to be a sub ir regular member of any band needing solid dependable harmonies, be it in a live or studio (urs or from my home studio) setting.
