Hi!!! I'm willing to play and collaborate with literally anyone in any type of style or genre just because I'm wide open to all music and the styles that other people love and it's been so long since I've worked with anybody else and I think the conflation of multiple styles can produce unique and interesting work. How I came up as a young lad was by my dad soaking my young, spongy, malleable brain with blues (muddy waters, BB King, etc.) and then with those bands influenced by the original Bluesmen (all Clapton, Hendrix, Allman Bros, etc.). Then on a sudden, when I was 12, a kid threw in a cassette during art class. What I heard completely changed me inside out. It was a sound I never quite heard, a sound that permeated my body and soul and became more of a feeling deep within me...it was strange to me but it felt good, it was like taking a Vicodin for the very first time. What I was listening to was the album Nevermind by Nirvana. This is what propelled me forward in my songwriting and I started my first band and began playing shows at the age of 14. We were a 3 piece and I sang and played guitar. So blues and Nirvana are my roots.
But as I continued to grow as a musician I threw in some new ingredients of inspiration into the Sonic Soup. Sonic Youth (nice!), the Jesus Lizard, the Birthday Party, etc etc etc.
Me move from Chicago to Leesburg in 2020 and I am lost here amidst. The. Corn. Help!
