I played rhythm guitar in a funk band for over a decad, but I’ve never played in a blues band, and I’ve always wanted to. I can play other things, but the blues, and blues based rock are what I’m most interested in.

Influences
Never would have picked up a guitar without Van Halen, quickly found Stevie Ray Vaughan, Hendrix, the Three Kings, and several other artist who don’t specifically play guitar. I grew up listening to The Rolling Stones, and have a profound respect for Kieth Richards.

EQUIPMENT
Several guitars, in varying degrees of repair (I always say I’m going to fix them, but in this economy…?). My main gigging amp is a Peavy 5150 2x12, but it’s remarkably heavy and loud. I only use a few pedals, at least currently.
