ABOUT

Want to play and have played professionally to the point of walking away from a record deal in 1986 after playing for years in a band called Minds Eye. Im looking to do a Christian band all original or an acoustic set with maybe a JIMBAY for some pulse. Long story and a longer way back after major surgeries. I am wanting to commit but I need to know I can physically. I’m 59 and have been playing since I was 7 years old. I had to take some time off due to health. But I am a pro.

Influences

I grew up playing hard rock but I’m open to just about anything but I don’t care to do covers except maybe a few. I play more acoustic the last two years and haven’t been in a band in about 3 years which I moved from Illinois to Indiana and it was an hour and a half drive one way.

EQUIPMENT

I have a full finished rehearsal space with a full PA. I'm a new resident in the Crown Point/Cedar Lake area. I have more gear than I'll ever use. I have a full PA and a 4 piece drum kit with Iron Cobra Pedals. I also have a Yamaha S-90, multiple amps but again, I’m very open to doing acoustic material and I write more on acoustic than electric these days. I’ve come to the conclusion that I’d a song can hold up on an acoustic with a nice vocal, it can be done as a band.
In the redoing. Just painted and new flooring so it’s a great place but I have one more room to do before I get all the gear set up. More gear than one person should own but I’ve been at it a long time.
