ABOUT

Howdy! I'm a reliable and consistent drummer with experience in a variety of genres both on stage and in the studio. I've been playing for 40+ years, but I'm not particularly flashy. I played a lot of punk and grunge in my youth. I've also played a lot of original indy rock as well as some folk, urban and traditional jazz, Latin and country.

I have a preference for original music or original interpretations of covers. I have a pretty big dynamic range and am equally comfortable playing loud driving rock and light stuff with brushes. I open to try most anything, with the exception that I have no real interest in play double bass pedals, or any sort of metal.

I'm currently in a band but am looking for additional opportunities to play with other people. I'm available to jam or audition. If things click I could practice once a week and gig 1-2 times per month in and around the greater Seattle area. (I have a full time day job so I'm not looking to tour, etc.)

I'm very reliable, good communicator, have good quality gear and transportation, am vaccinated, am punctual, can learn songs quickly, and am generally fun to be around.
