Jerry Garcia and Stevie Ray Vaughn walking down the street and then run over by a Mack truck driven by Mick Mars. Ha. I gave that description in a radio interview once and no one got it. Blues, jazz, improv, and some hard rock solos when needed. I think Mick Mars in a truck confuses people.

Influences

Have a degree in jazz but used it to play rock through the 90s and 2000s. When you can read and write music for the flugelhorn doing a tour with a trio where it's all major chords.... not that hard!! lol. Love Miles Davis and all 90s guitar oriented rock. Anything with improv. Have an affinity for 80s LA rock. I'm a quagmire of jazz, leather pants, long hair, and the flugelhorn. Ha.

EQUIPMENT

Full gear. Amps for small rooms and amps for large rooms. Mostly Gibson guitars (custom from the 70s, main one's are the Explorer and Firebird but the Les Paul is good for all occasions) and one 1973 Fender Strat for full on blues and jazz when needed.
