I’ve been playing bass off and on since I was 8 years old. For the last 3 years I’ve been practicing the acoustic and electric guitar, really making that my main instrument. I’ve had some very brief experience with the drums and piano. I also took vocal lessons for about a year do I’m able to sing basic tunes at a moderate level.

Influences
I enjoyed a lot of 90’s metal with my guitar playing but lately I’ve attempted to dial it back and focus more on feel. This led me to focus more on 70’s classic rock influences. Pink Floyd, Steely Dan, and queen all have styles I’ve been attempting to replicate.
For bass I also try and focus on the simple, catchy, baselines that were found in more of 70’s classic rock but I always love to speed it up with some Jaco, YYZ, or R&B/funk. Because of a lot of these influences I often bias towards finger style on Bass as opposed to slap but I can manage some lines with that SLAPP.
