I have been playing keyboard and sax for over 35 years. Tenor, Alto, Soprano sax. I've been in a few bands and have done a few dozen or so gigs. Did bar piano / dinner music for a while as well. My participation in bands has been purely for fun. I like a band that does covers with their own arrangement and twists. I normally switch back and forth between keys and sax quite a bit. What ever works. Gigs are good because they gave me something to work towards. I'm looking for a band that likes to jam and wants to practice(maybe once a week) and do an occasional gig. Parties are good. I prefer the jazzy side of rock and some blues along with classic rock where keys and sax fit in.
