SEEKING
Band to Join, Vocalist, Drums, Other Percussion, Keyboard, Other, DJ, Electronic Music.ABOUT
Just your typical 30-something prior touring musician turned corporate sellout, but still devote a lot of time and resources to recording and performing. I played bass since age 12 and keyboard since I was 3. Got sick of life on the road around 25.
I currently love playing fatty synths like my Moog Sub37 or David Smith Rev 2. I also have a 70s p-bass, drum machines, controllers, ukules, guitars, accordion, recording/production software, hardware, mics, etc.
I live in Capitol Hill, and would prefer to stay in Seattle proper. I want to play unique music that is fun to dance to, somewhat electronic (like soulful EDM). I have been covering Big Black Delta songs like this recently: s://.be/dmRlxYLYHtY
Please no classic rock jam bands or covers. I am looking for people familiar with modern synths, production software, drum machines, and programs like Ableton.....Or I'll join any band with a solid drummer :-)
I have a small recording studio in my condo, but probably need a larger rehearsal space. I am looking to record, play shows, and/or practice 1-2 times a week. I am down for a short tour, but don't wanna go back to living on the road and sleeping on floors...
Here are some videos from my last band where I played bass and synth:
