ABOUT
John Fahey fanatic (plays like him too) who needs to branch out after a 20 year hiatus from performing. Well-known in a different field (andf I'm also a backup classical music host at WNYC-New York Public Radio), I could thrive (therapy-wise) in a band that sounds Cajun, bluegrass, pogues-like...that alternates between Anonymous 4 type hymns, and the dirtiest, most foul-mouthed songs out there. Would love an accordionist, mandolin, drummer, penny-whistle, fiddler, banjo genius (and female vocalists)...whatever...who are tempted and who live in NYC (pref. Manhattan or Brooklyn)
