I'm an Irish-American lad that loves Celtic music, bluegrass, early country, and blues. I played rock guitar in a number of bands (one signed to Warner Brothers) and upright bass in a few others. I enjoy going to hillbilly jams and want to play mandolin with a bluegrass group to play out and tour.

Influences
There are SO many...Chris Thile is my mandolin idol. I love the Dillards, Chris Thile and Michael Daves, Flatt and Scruggs, Louvin Brothers, Nickel Creek. Mississippi John Hurt, Clancy Brothers and Tommy Makem, John Hartford, Sara Watkins, and Sean Watkins. I've taken a few lessons from Sean Watkins of Nickel Creek.
