Although I've been playing for decades, my experience as a guitar player is limited. I know basic theory, can play basic blues scales, and am a strong rhythm player. I've played in a few blues jams, but most of my band experience includes playing acoustic rhythm guitar in church worship bands.
I've produced and played in a handful of mini-concerts at the Portland Rescue Mission and the Multnomah County Juvenile Detention Center. I was the Vice President of the Cascade Blues Association for a few years back in the 90's, helped produce Stevie Zee's debut album (Wail), and volunteered with My Voice Music to bring music programs to at-risk youth in the Portland area.
My ultimate goal is to play in a worship band and write/perform/record Christian Blues music with like-minded people.
