I am a gun-for-hire. I got my BA from GIT. I play for a living. I do a single and average about 5 gigs a week playing clubs, bars, restaurants, corporate events and private parties. I also play Guitar Acoustic or Electric Lead or rhythm, mandolin, Vocals Lead or background, Bass, and light keys. I have played alongside a nice long list of notable players and celebrities. Will give list upon request. The main thing that separates me from the average musician is that I can play any style. When people ask me "What kind of music do you play", my typical response is "Whatever pays the most". Smart ass answer, I know! But it makes people laugh. I have also been blessed with perfect pitch. So I save money on buying tuners. I'm always looking for new musicians to network with, because the only way to be successful in this business is for all of us to stick together. First and foremost, The Beatles, only to be followed by the solo careers of Paul McCartney, John Lennon, George Harrison, and Ringo Starr. Other influences include, Eric Clapton, Stevie Ray Vaughn, The Eagles, James Taylor, Richard Thompson, Santana, Danny Gatton, Miles Davis, Stevie Wonder, Marvin Gaye, Al Green, John Mayer, AC/DC, Aerosmith, Aretha Franklin, B.B. King, Billy Joel, Elton John, The Black Crowes, Boston, Bruce Springsteen, Cream, CSNY, Dave Matthews, Jimi Hendrix, Mark Knopffler, The Four Tops, the Temptations, Frankie Vallie and The Four Seasons, Green Day, Nirvana, Guns N Roses, The Hollies, Ray Charles, Jerry Lee Lewis, Jethro Tull, Joe Cocker, John Fogerty and Creedence Clearwater Revival, Led Zeppelin, Martin Sexton, Simon &; Garfunkel, Peter Gabriel, The Police, Sting, Sam and Dave, Sheryl Crow, U2, Wilson Pickett, just to name a few.
