Hello, I'm looking to put together a mountain/indie/folk band. Need chill, experienced players who enjoy playing for the song. My folk influences are the standard 60s-70s names, a current interest is Andy Schauf, if you haven't seen his B&W live vid of Wendall Walker, check it out. That is an example of the vibe I want in a band.
I've played in various bands for 25 years, put out records, done small scale touring, etc. I currently have a full set of songs ready to roll. I play guitar, sing, and write. I'd be stoked to find a low-key, talented drummer, bassist, fiddle player, and harmony vocs. Let's rehearse a few times and get out there, there are several great open mics in Portland to hone our chops.
