lately I have been getting many requests through this site from musicians interested in working with me. unfortunately, each one that has contacted me seems to be based pretty far away from me. well, more like REALLY far away.

PLEASE, I cannot commit to a far commute. I am looking for people no more than 20 mi away from me (ideally). I hate to turn people down after they have placed time and effort into emailing me.

I am in the 90045 area. If you are too far, save yourself the trouble. ... oh man, that sounds horrible... but you know what I mean.

EQUIPMENT

I am a working audio engineer for TV, film, etc. mostly hired for pre-production recordings and live productions. Even though I do not have much equipment myself, I know how to work most sound boards and audio related equipment. That is another aspect as far as what I can bring to the table... after all, that's what I do for a living.

As far as what I have at home for 'band use': Triton extreme keyboard and an ovation electron-acoustic guitar.
