I am a drummer but also play guitar and bass. I have a full kit, reliable transportation, and a desire to write and record some serious music.
I've been playing drums off and on since late 90s but due to constant apartment living was forced to also take up guitar and bass. I have a very small practice space with an electronic drum kit I practice on. I've played a couple of gigs and have bits and pieces of riffs recorded but nothing final.
I am 42 and live and work full time in Milwaukie (M-F 7-3:30p) so weekends are best for me to practice/jam/record/whatever. I do have a family but can find time to jam.

Influences
I'm into a lot of different stuff. I was raised on classic rock and early prog rock. To name a few influences/inspiration: Pink Floyd, Rush,Tool, Alice in Chains, Gentle Giant, Black Sabbath, Led Zeppelin, Dead Kennedys, Soundgarden, Zappa, Surf rock, Soul/Funk, Celtic music, Jimi, Primus, and Bernard Herrmann. I also seek inspiration from film soundtracks/classical music and even nintendo music.
Favorite Drummers: John Bonham, Danny Carey, Dave Grohl, Neil Peart, Bill Ward, Bill Bruford, Mitch Mitchell, and Tim Alexander
