I'm a 20 year-old drummer based in Murrieta, CA looking for a group to gain live experience with.
While my experience performing live is somewhat limited (I've done maybe 4 live open mics total), I feel very comfortable playing in front of people, and I've been drumming under the training of other drummers for about 5 years or so. I also did high school percussion/marching band, so my chops and my ability to do fills is a strong point for me.
My ability to read music is strong, and I'm open to playing a variety of music types. While I would prefer to join a group of musicians closer to my age group, I'm open minded.
(Although I like indie/psychedelic rock and funk, so it would be a plus to play those genres).
I'd prefer not to drive too far to meet up if possible, although it depends largely on whether I see your particular group as a good fit for me.
