Vocalist/Guitarist who's been making music since I was a kid. I was in a ton of bands in high school and college, but it's been awhile since I've played with other people and I really miss it. I'm willing to put in the work to get up to speed and I'm easy to get along with. My first love is prog rock/metal, and if you want my full commitment then I'm really looking for something interesting that involves the fusion of different genres with rock and/or metal: think The Mars Volta, Diablo Swing Orchestra, Unexpect, Sleepytime Gorilla Museum, Toehider, etc. That said, I'm also totally happy just rocking out to power metal and classic covers for fun. I don't have a big ego and don't mind sharing vocal duties, especially with a screamer and/or a female vocalist.
I'm really good at that power-metal bridging into head voice, etc. I can also do a decent croon when I set my mind to it. I'm still working on getting good at harsh vocals.

EQUIPMENT
I have a bunch of microphones and I hate how every single one interacts with my voice. If I join a band that's my first investment, but I probably have options for background singers or another lead singer.
My main guitar is a 22-fret PRS S2 series. I also have a Squier Partscaster and a couple of acoustic guitars- an Ibanez Acoustic Electric (plug-in acoustic guitar) and a Seagull. I love modulation and have pedals for pretty much every application you'd need -- happy to share and let bandmates experiment with them.
